Crafted over two years, our breakthrough formula uses glycolipids, enzymes, and bio-based surfactants to lift stains and odours—then actually disperse them, so they don’t redeposit like they do with conventional detergents.

Why It's a Game-Changer:

• Next-Level Stain Lifting 
  Most laundry products are very 'soapy,' penetrating stains to try to absorb them. Ours does the opposite. Instead of penetrating the stain and the fabric, we use a proprietary technology with a one-two punch: 
  First, it acts like a magnet to LIFT the stain off,
  Then, it keeps the dirt particles suspended in the water, preventing them from redepositing onto fabrics. This method keeps your brights brighter, and your whites whiter over time.
  
  

• Next-Gen Biosurfactants
  Unlike conventional surfactants derived from petrochemicals, glycolipids are biosynthesized through fermentation, a renewable, lower-carbon production process. We use them at an industry-leading concentration, giving our formula a sustainability edge most laundry products don't have access to.
  

• Exceptional Cleaning Performance
  Our formula uses six targeted enzymes, including protease, lipase, amylase, mannanase, and two forms of cellulase. Each one is engineered to break down a specific type of stain, from protein and grease to starch and everyday grime. Used at carefully calibrated low doses, they deliver thorough, effective cleaning while remaining gentle on fabric fibers.

What we left out:

Many 'free and clear' laundry detergents aren't free and clear of toxins. They're free and clear of fragrance. At Guests on Earth, fragrance is a key part of the product experience. Our new laundry detergent comes in an intoxicating new scent, Green Hinoki, as well as an Unscented version. 

More importantly, we leave out a lot of the common toxins of conventional detergents:

• No Linear Alkylbenzene Sulfonates (LABS)
• No 1,4-Dioxane
• No Toxic Chelators (e.g. no EDTA or NTA)
• No Parabens
• No Sulfates
• No Phthalates
• No DBDS
• No TEA, MEA

We also exclude free fatty acids, which in some formulations are used as defoamers but can also deposit on fabric and oxidize over time, a known cause of yellowing and odour in stored detergents.
